Welcome Lucas Rabello Simões to Hyperbridge

Lucas Simoes, lead graphic designer at Hyperbridge

Lucas Simões, a Brazilian born graphic and web designer, now based in Vancouver-BC, who attended SENAC University for Multimedia Production and Anhembi-Morumbi University for Graphic Design.

At at young age, with a slow internet connection and a shared computer, Lucas sought to learn all he could about design, starting his own digital design and advertising business at 17. With time, Lucas learned some programming in order to provide interactivity to his projects and at 15 made his first website, Fire Studio, as a means to advertise his work.

On joining Hyperbridge

I‘m excited to have the opportunity to work with blockchain, and see so many possibilities for the technology. I believe Hyperbridge has the team and vision to build the solutions needed as the world moves towards blockchain. I look forward to making my contributions.

Lucas has developed advanced capacities with Adobe Creative Cloud software, including video and audio editing on After Effects, Premiere and Audition; coding websites with HTML5, CSS3, React, jQuery, PHP7, MySQL, etc.; enjoys building WordPress themes from scratch or customizing existing ones; and has also educated himself about server management and Linux, capable of putting a web server online from scratch with Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora or CentOS using a variety of possible stacks that range from Apache/PHP5.6/MySQL to NGINX/PHP7.2-FPM/MariaDB served over HTTP2.

For the past 12 years Lucas has been working both as a freelancer in small and larger companies and as head of his own multimedia design and IT business, where he remained present and involved in all the creative and development aspects of his projects.

In 2010 Lucas and his wife founded Art Generation Studios, a venture they moved on from to pursue a life of travel and adventure.

Lucas arrived in Canada 8 months ago, and after spending some time improving his English, and learning more about the local market, is now ready to build his career and life here in Vancouver.

With a growing knowledge in programming, design, marketing, social media and image & video manipulation, we are grateful to have Lucas on the team as Hyperbridge enters a new phase of growth and development.

While away from the computer, Lucas enjoys a great cup of coffee and a serene hike, a perfect fit with Vancouver, a city with an over-abundance of coffee options and an expansive and accessible outdoor culture.

Lucas has been happily married since June 2010, and as a couple they like to Netflix and chill, shoot photography, explore new restaurants, and go to the park with their lhasa apso dogs.

Lucas brings a wealth of graphic design and digital presentation knowledge to the team. We are confident that he will bring a lot of value to Hyperbridge Technology and look forward to seeing his mark on the blockchain space.
